Now on my actually new Lightning 770 all its ok. My previous card 770 Lightning was faulty, but was crashing often nvlddmkm in Unigine Heaven and card was shutting off computer while i was on test DEMO ICE STORM in 3dmark 13. All of these are very demanding as well and they run without any problems I'm very confident my video card and the rest of my hardware are fine, I have been running several Benchmarks (Unigine Valley and Heaven, 3DMark one) as well as other games (Battlefield 3, Crysis 3, Tomb Raider, Fear 3,Black Ops 2, even Metro Last Light playing is ok.). This can also happen in the Benchmark after running it for 10-20 times in a loop. I get freez, then black screen and in eventlog i get " nvl.Driver display recovery.EVENT ID 4104"ĭisplay driver nvlddmkm stopped responding and has successfully recovered. I cant pass 20+ loops while i am running benchmark in Metro LL. Temps while playing are good, from 69C to 73C.Īgain, maybe little brighter. Only Metro LL is crashing sometimes in last mission, and i am worried now. Can somebody experienced similiar issue? Or its something with my GPU?Īll games i played and tested: Black Ops 2, Crysis 3 + benchmarks like Unigine Heaven and 3dmarks no crashing even one single time, just never. I mean game is crashing often only in D6 last mission. Temp while that crash happens was 73C, so its good. While the average frame rate is actually higher on the NVIDIA.

The game simply froze and I had to bring up the task manager to close the game (which was "not responding" ). Metro: Last Light presents another interesting scenario when comparing the Sapphire Tri-X R9 290X to the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 780 Ti. I just get the "Not Responding" in task manager. When i try to set it to 1920 x 1080, i get a 'APPLYING CHANGES ' that goes up incredibly slowly, reaches to 100, restarts back to 0 and then when its 100 again, it goes back to 0 and exits without any prompt to confirm save settings. Now i have GTX 1080 TI and i saw guru3d performance review on metro EXODUS. Bug: Cant change resolution and the game always boots at a low resolution (1280 x 720). EventViewer only shows APPHANG or APPCRASH. I had GTX 770 back in day and it could run Metro last light redux no problem at very high settings FHD wtih 60fps in most cases, Game still looks amazing and well optimized. No any error messages come with it in EventViewer.

But yesterday when i was playing Metro Last Light my game just freeze then i use CTRL+ALT+DELETE and close METROLL.exe because HE WAS STOPPED RESPONDING. Overall i am happy with temperatures, and playing games. I mean ,last time, i bought my new Lightning 770.
